Bluebone.
Officially retired from live performance I still occasionally play and may continue with home recording if and when inspiration takes hold. Pictured below is BLUEBONE who are (& forever will be) greatly missed.
Band founder and drummer Steve Thompson badgered me to become the bass player in spite of the fact that bass was not (nor ever had been) my instrument. I eventually agreed to give it a go under the premise of ‘old dogs – new tricks’ so no one expected stellar performances which was just as well. That said vigorous practice forged a well-rounded and extremely versatile rock band lasting four years enjoying great regional success. I was privileged to be a part of that truly fabulous musical journey.
The band that rocked WA Mid-West.
Sadly this truly memorable band is no more than just that, a memory. We parted company after almost four years of tremendously successful gigging throughout the central Mid-West. The break up came as a result of members life paths unavoidably taking different directions and we all treasure the lifetime bond forged in the incandescent furnace of unforgettable rock & roll music.
