John, I have once sat upon a jury about 1978. It was a learning experience. The case involved a traffic infringement. I still believe the motorist was possibly at fault but the police, may have in my mind presented some false information. One woman stood her ground against all other jurors and the case was thrown out. It had to be a unanimous verdict.
G’day Mal. I just realized who you are! Thanks for that comment. If there had been no damage or harm then maybe that was the right outcome, but it sounds as though there might have been. Do you have any more details? It would be an interesting example of how TBJ might work out in many cases.
